WHY JOIN DELTA KAPPA???

ENGAGING STUDENTS

Students join Delta Kappa during their Marriage and Family Therapy Masters Program, generally during their second year. All members serve on committees, and some become officers of the honor society. Students serve their community at various marriage and family therapy events.

WORKING WITH THE COMMUNITY

Members of Delta Kappa create events for the honor society, university and surrounding community. The honor society also assists with university and community events. This can include speaking engagements, guest lectures, continuing education opportunities, and educational outreach.

INSPIRING EDUCATORS

Educators help students and members create ideas and present to communities. These educators are the advisors for the local Delta Kappa, the Zeta Chapter. Educators inspire the members to become more involved with learning and educating, not just counseling.
